Prayer Shawl Ministry
A ministry that has been in existence throughout the centuries that seeks to provide care through a tangible and outward sign of God’s love.
This ministry continues to provide comfort and encouragement to the congregation and community through shawls, prayer cloths, and lap throws. If you or someone you know would like to be a part of this ministry, or if you know someone who is in need of this form of peace and encouragement, please contact the Church Office at 703.487.1698.
Stephen Ministry
Group of volunteer congregation members specially trained as lay ministers to provide Christ-centered, one-on-one care. Stephen Ministers provide a focused time of active listening, care and prayer in a confidential, safe space for those experiencing difficulty in their lives.
Stephen Ministers listen, care, encourage and provide emotional and spiritual support. Contact Pastor Ryan if you are interested in being paired with a Stephen Minister or learning more about the process of becoming a Stephen Minister.
