we were created to do life together
How We Care at Deep Creek
We are often stretched as the Body of Christ by an ever-changing world, but our God is always with us and is our unchanging source of comfort no matter what situations with which we may be faced. As a community of faith, we are present for and with one another in a variety of ways.

Prayer Shawl Ministry
A ministry that has been in existence throughout the centuries that seeks to provide care through a tangible and outward sign of God’s love.
This ministry continues to provide comfort and encouragement to the congregation and community through shawls, prayer cloths, and lap throws. If you or someone you know would like to be a part of this ministry, or if you know someone who is in need of this form of peace and encouragement, please contact the Church Office at 703.487.1698.

Stephen Ministers listen, care, encourage and provide emotional and spiritual support. Contact Pastor Ryan if you are interested in being paired with a Stephen Minister or learning more about the process of becoming a Stephen Minister.
